How Back to One works
Back to One is a marketplace for used film and production equipment: cameras, lenses, lighting, grip, cranes and production vehicles, for sale or for rent, anywhere.
Rental houses, owner-operators, production companies and crew list what they no longer need. Buyers message the seller, ask questions and agree the deal directly.
- Review
- A person checks every listing against the listing rules before it goes live.
- Payments
- No payment is taken on Back to One yet. This starts a conversation with the seller.
- Anonymity
- Sellers can list anonymously and share their details when they choose. Rentals always show the company.
- Condition
- Graded by the seller on one scale, with known issues written out.
- Trust
- Identity-verified sellers and reviews from completed deals. Coming soon: payment held until you confirm the gear arrived as described.
- Messages
- Only the buyer, the seller and Back to One admins can read a listing's messages.
- Reports
- Every live listing has a Report link, and a person reviews every report.
